THE PROPERTY:
We renovated this 107 sqm apartment five years ago with the goal of creating a comfortable and spacious home, even for a larger family. The high ceilings, original wooden window frames and interior doors, and the beautifully rebuilt tiled stove all preserve the charm of classical architecture, while modern comforts are ensured by insulated windows (each room has at least one with a built-in mosquito screen), a condensation boiler, remotely controlled underfloor heating, and air conditioning.
All plumbing, pipes, and electrical wiring were completely replaced during the renovation.
The heart of the home is the bright, street-facing open-plan kitchen–dining–living room, which serves as a lively gathering space for family and guests alike. This central area is complemented by a small balcony, and the kitchen is supported by a spacious pantry.
