Záhony is located on the Hungarian-Ukrainian border, in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, in the northeastern corner of Hungary, and is the seat of the Záhony micro-region. Rail and road border crossing to Ukraine.

The land is located on the border of Záhony and Zsurk settlements, 1 km from the main road 4. 1.1 km by road from the Záhony border crossing. According to the current regulatory plan, the area is bounded by an industrial zone, a road and a normal gauge railway on the eastern side, and a wide-gauge railway on the western side, and an undeveloped area on the northern and southern borders.
