Universities within easy reach: the University of Veterinary Medicine (Szent István / Állatorvostudományi Egyetem, István u. 2) is practically around the corner — about a 10-minute walk, or a couple of stops on trolleybus 73/74/76. Pázmány Péter Catholic University's Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics (Práter u. 50/a) is roughly a 14-minute walk. McDaniel College (Bethlen Gábor tér 2) is a little further, around 15–16 minutes on foot, and Semmelweis University's clinical campus is reachable in a similar time, or in just a few minutes on the M3 metro.

Public transport at your doorstep: the real highlight is the M4 (green) metro, whose II. János Pál pápa tér station is only a 7–9 minute walk away, putting Keleti, Kálvin tér, and the whole cross-city line a few minutes' ride away. Bus 9 stops right nearby at Teleki tér / Népszínház utca (a 4–5 minute walk) and runs straight into the city centre, and trolleybuses 73/74/76 pass through the neighbourhood toward the Veterinary University (about 10–13 minutes). Keleti railway station — where the M4 meets the M2 (red) metro — is roughly a 13-minute walk. A little further west, the Grand Boulevard trams 4–6 are about a 15–17 minute walk at their nearest stop, Blaha Lujza tér, and the M3 (blue) "Medical University" metro is a similar distance at Corvin-negyed / Klinikák.

And for green space and everyday life, the leafy, recently renovated Teleki László tér is on your doorstep, Orczy Park lies a short walk to the south, and the famous Teleki tér market, along with the cafés, shops, and everyday amenities of this lively, increasingly popular corner of downtown Pest, are all close at hand.
