Our mezzanine-floor apartment, located at 48 Csengery utca, Budapest, District 6, is available for rent starting from July 1, 2026. Unlike the "usual" downtown ground-floor apartments, it is completely dry, free of dampness/mold, and stays warm.
The apartment is situated in the rear part of the building. It can be accessed via a separate small staircase used by only 2–3 residents, as well as from the main staircase next to the main entrance. The entrance door is equipped with a 2-point locking security grille. The building features an elevator and an electronic, code-operated main gate.
Layout and Specifications:
- Total Area: 34 sqm
- Important Note: The ceiling height is 210 cm! Therefore, it is not a classic high-ceilinged, grand civic apartment.
- Entrance Hall: 3 sqm.
- Kitchen: 3.4 sqm, equipped with IKEA kitchen furniture. It includes a pantry (1.18 sqm), with windows opening to an airshaft (lichthof).

Location and Amenities:

District 6 Municipality and government office (Kormányablak), district health clinic, Spar, bank branches, McDonald’s, Burger King, Bellozzo, Turkish and Chinese restaurants, Liszt Ferenc tér, and Andrássy út with its numerous restaurants, shops, and cafes.
Within a 10-minute walk: Nyugati Railway Station and Metro Line M3 (or 1 tram stop away), Király utca, Deák tér, Gozsdu Udvar with its vibrant nightlife, art cinemas, and the Danube promenade.
Keleti Railway Station: Approx. 15 minutes by public transport.
Rental Conditions:
We are looking for a long-term tenant. Our current tenant has lived here for 4 years; their contract expires on June 30, so the property is move-in ready from July 1.
