Energy costs
One of the house's greatest advantages is its low running costs. The rooftop solar panel system reduces the electricity bill to virtually zero. Even in the coldest month, the gas bill comes to just around 18,000 HUF, while maintaining a constant 21.5 °C indoor temperature. This is made possible by the 15 cm graphite-enhanced EPS exterior insulation installed in 2019, along with 30 cm mineral wool insulation in the attic.
Renovations completed (2020–2022)
The technical infrastructure was comprehensively upgraded between 2020 and 2022. The entire electrical system was replaced, including the installation of the solar panel system (2020). The heating system was fully renewed with new pipes and radiators, as was the complete plumbing system (2021). Four air conditioning units were installed in 2022. The fireplace has also been renovated.
Security
Motion-sensor lighting operates both inside and outside the house. The camera system can be monitored remotely via mobile phone. In the event of an alarm, the exterior lights also flash as a visual deterrent.
Layout
On the ground floor (basement level) there is a double garage and a boiler room that also includes a shower and washbasin. The main floor features a spacious open-plan living and dining area with a fireplace, and a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The attic (45 m²) contains two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub.
Garden and extras
