Description
Located in the western corner of Lake Balaton, this area is the second largest lakeside settlement and the third largest in Zala County, serving as one of the region’s key cultural, educational, and economic centers. With vibrant tourism and a strong economy, it boasts significant history and culture; its favorable location and easy road access make it a popular holiday destination.
The building plot is situated in Keszthely’s Garden City, on a gentle southwest slope with a beautiful panoramic view of Hévíz, which lies just 1 km from the plot. Because of this, the climate here also has a healing effect.
The 59,906 sqm plot is divided into 11 parcels. It is split into 6 lower plots and one separating plot through which water and sewage pass. The electrical system and gas connection are located at the right corner of the plots. The upper section consists of 4 plots. The lower and upper plots can be sold separately, with different pricing. A garden-city style residential park has been planned for the upper 4 plots, while the lower plots are designated for a hotel, guesthouse, pension, nursing home, and 7 residential units for support staff. The design plans were created by the Zalaegerszeg Design Office, the same firm that designed the construction plans for a 240-apartment residential park. The new execution plans could be adapted to current conditions within 6-7 months.
Nearby is Hévíz, home to Europe’s unique natural peat lake with warm water, whose medicinal properties help many conditions achieve symptom relief over the long term.
So, there’s much to consider before getting started. First, let’s visit the site together!
