Description
A flat is for sale in the 9th district, in a building on Mester Street, overlooking Dandár Street. It is in a really pleasant and friendly neighbourhood, with great public transport and everything close by. The M3 metro, trams 4-6, and tram 2 are all just a few minutes’ walk away, so getting around is excellent both during the day and at night.
There is a 24/7 convenience store opposite the building, as well as a greengrocer, several lunch places, restaurants, cafés, and bakeries nearby. This section of Mester Street is currently being fully renovated: it will become greener, with more outdoor seating areas and a bike lane. Primary and secondary schools, a kindergarten, a nursery, and medical clinics are also just a few minutes away. Street parking can usually be found within one block, and district residents can apply for an annual parking permit.
The building is 100 years old, well maintained, and has an inner gallery layout. The façade was fully renovated a year ago, the staircase is in good condition, and the first phase of the roof renovation has also been completed. The inner courtyard is paved and can be used for parking or bicycle storage by eligible owners. There are two lifts in the building, so you do not have to walk up the stairs. It is a very decent, well-managed building, with no conflicts, debts, problematic residents, or troublesome businesses.
The flat itself is spacious, bright, well laid out, in good condition, and has normal ceiling height. It was fully renovated 12 years ago, including the flooring, painting, heating, and kitchen furniture. Heating is provided by two Mika wall-mounted gas heaters with external vents, which are very efficient and economical.
The rooms have parquet flooring, while the entrance area and wet rooms are tiled. There is air conditioning in the living room, although we barely use it because the flat heats up slowly. The rooms face Dandár Street, which is quieter than the Mester Street side. Apart from the pantry, every room has a window.
One of the smaller rooms has access to a passage/storage area, which leads to a small terrace. The half-room opens from the kitchen and could work well as a study, guest room, or children’s room. Its window faces the inner gallery, so it is very quiet. There is a pantry, and the toilet is in a separate room.
The bathroom is spacious and has a window, and the large shower also has its own separate window facing the lightwell, where no one can see in. The flat also comes with a storage room in the basement, approximately 5 square metres.
