The walls were not hidden behind plasterboard; instead, they received traditional, breathable mud plaster and whitewash, keeping the indoor climate perfect in both winter and summer.

Complete utility replacement: The house features a brand-new electrical network (new electric meter, dedicated connections for an electric stove and boiler), as well as a completely new water and sewage system.

Stable foundations: The entire house (including the porch) received a new concrete subfloor. The roof was cleaned (moss removal, guttering), and a chimney that had been dismantled below the roofline was rebuilt.

Authentic woodwork: All original doors and windows, the porch pillars, and the decorative moldings were sanded, repaired, and painted a beautiful traditional green. The street-facing window received a unique, tulip-patterned shutter.
