Description
Truly exceptional property-there are places that are rarely available.
This unique house was built in 1997 at the very end of a cul-de-sac in Aszófő, based on the designs of Ybl Prize-winning architect Éva Mueller.
A Natura 2000 site stretches in front of the property, which can never be developed, ensuring that the PANORAMIC VIEW OF LAKE BALATON opening onto Sajkodi Bay remains a PERMANENT asset. The Völgy-bridge is also visible, and from the house, only a walking trail leads downward toward Lake Balaton, the Kövesdi church ruins, or the Almás Spring.
The thick brick walls, the thatched roof, the generous ceiling heights, and the unique spatial connections create a sense of both elegance and coziness.
This house was not built to follow trends.
The double-glazed wooden doors and windows, as well as the shutters, were crafted by a Budapest-based carpenter with the same attention to detail as the custom kitchen cabinetry. Original Tihany stone was used for the baseboards, and pine from Austria was incorporated into the exposed beams.
The 220 m² home features, on the ground floor, a uniquely designed kitchen-dining area with a small pantry, a living room with a fireplace, a huge 30 m² terrace with panoramic views, a guest bathroom, a bedroom, and a bathroom. A comfortable staircase leads up to the upper floor, which is bright thanks to the glass wall. Here, there is a bedroom with an en suite bathroom, which opens onto a small room, and a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, from which you can step out onto the panoramic balcony.
The garden also features a separate, authentic wine cellar, which, with its stairs and barbecue area, fits perfectly with the house’s atmosphere. The entire garden offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Balaton.
While Balatonfüred is just a few minutes away, the surroundings evoke a different world: private, quiet, and timeless.
There are few properties around Lake Balaton where proximity to nature, architectural quality, and an exclusive setting come together in such harmony.
This home is for those who are no longer just looking for a property—but for tranquility, character, and timeless value.
