We are offering a 24 m² + 6 m² flat with a mezzanine for rent in the heart of the city centre, on Szent István körút.

Transport links are excellent; the Parliament and Margaret Island are just a few minutes’ walk away, whilst Nyugati railway station provides excellent connections to more distant parts of the country. As you step from the bustling street into the listed building – home mainly to lawyers and other tenants – everything immediately falls silent. And as the flat’s windows look out onto the courtyard, with a lawyers’ archive on the floor above, the peace is disturbed only now and then by a pair of skylarks nesting in the trees.

You can take the lift up to the second floor, where you’ll find this peaceful flat. Immediately to the left of the hall is a hallway/storage room; continuing along this leads to the bathroom with a bath. The kitchen and the room with a mezzanine also open off the hall. Due to its west-facing orientation, the flat enjoys lovely afternoon sunshine. The landlord is very flexible, as pets and smoking are both permitted.

Short term rent is possible! Preference is given to those who can pay several months’ rent in advance, as the rent varies accordingly. The deposit is a fixed 200,000 Ft. If the tenant pays three months’ rent in advance, the rent is 220,000 Ft per month. If they can pay four months’ rent in advance, it is 210,000 Ft per month. If they can pay five months’ rent in advance, it is 200,000 Ft per month. The most favourable option is to pay for half a year in one go, in which case the rent is just 190,000 Ft per month. There is no need to sign a fixed-term tenancy agreement for a year; you can stay for as many months as you like.
Service charges are included in the rent, as renovation work is planned for the building; however, the tenant will not be charged separately for this. Utility bills are payable according to consumption and amount to an average of approximately 20,000 Ft per month.
We are happy to accept foreign currency for payment, particularly US dollars, but only in cash. The property is available to move into immediately.
