Description
An attic apartment on the 3rd floor of Heroes' Square, opposite the Museum of Fine Arts, is for sale. The apartment is in need of complete renovation. On this upper floor, the ceiling of several neighboring apartments has been opened and the attic space has been built in, so the currently 31 square meter apartment can be expanded to double its size after obtaining a housing association permit. There is a thicker (50 cm) retaining wall inside the apartment, the others can be freely removed (after consulting a structural engineer). The apartment originally had a door opening onto the outside suspended corridor, which was walled up some time ago, but can be reopened at any time. Since only this apartment on this side of the house has a suspended corridor (balcony) facade, it can even be fenced off (also with a housing association permit). From the kitchen, you can also open the two windows together to create a quasi-patio door to the balcony, making the apartment much brighter. The property has many additional possibilities in the event of a complete renovation, and its location is outstanding. The ceiling height is 3 meters, the heating is central with radiators, the flat rate for which is included in the common cost. There is an elevator. The house has a backyard and several parking spaces, but their use is limited, this will have to be agreed with the common representative. It cannot be guaranteed that there is/will be a free space. The location (Hősök tere) is one of the most prominent attractions of Budapest; the city park, Városliget, is 100 meters away, and the transport is excellent - the underground railway takes you to the city center, metro line 2 to Deák tér, Váci utca, i.e. the pedestrian and shopping street, and in the other direction to the Széchenyi Baths. There is a trolley and bus stop in front of the house, so you can get to the Keleti Railway Station (metro line 4) or to the XIII., XIV. districts without changing trains.
The apartment is currently rented until July 31st, so viewings are usually possible on weekends or after 6 pm.
