Multi-generational, successfully operating family guesthouse is looking for a new owner

We are offering for sale our family's multi-generational, still successfully operating guesthouse, which is not just a property, but a home full of life, stories and happy memories.

The property was taken over by my father from my grandparents, I remember that it was blessed with only 2 tiny rooms, but with my father's persistent work, dedication and my helpful mother at his side, it was finally developed into a uniquely styled building and a thriving private business.
Over the years, they continuously expanded and modernized it with all their love; I can say that this was one of the great works of my father's life, which as a successful food entrepreneur, he eventually transformed into a huge, peaceful family relaxation area. And last but not least, where our large family and our large circle of friends experienced countless holidays and unforgettable moments over many, many years.

Unfortunately, my father was no longer able to live out the peaceful old age he had dreamed of here, and his tragic loss deeply touched our hearts 10 years ago this year.
However, preserving his memory and passing on his eternal optimistic nature, my mother and sister and I finally opened a new chapter: we completely transformed and modernized the former family pickle factory, and since 2018 we have been successfully operating it as a guesthouse.
In recent years, we have made continuous improvements: received a new roof and modern windows, and we have carried out continuous aesthetic and technical renovations.
And among our guests, there are now also returning families who happily return to us every summer - this is the greatest recognition.

Why are we offering it for sale? The reason for our decision is simple: the business has now outgrown what we can undertake as a side job. Although it has grown close to our hearts and its spiritual value will always be invaluable, we all three of us feel that this year the time has come to hand it over to a family who:

The guesthouse is located only 6 km from the popular Tisza-side Thermal Bath and the Tisza-side free beach. It also has a huge plot of land, surrounded by beautiful trees planted by the family, and there is a cozy little lake behind the building.

Our family has always been big animal lovers, so for years we have cared for and given a warm home to horses, dogs, cats, a local birth family, and returning deer, and that is how a smaller stable was added to the huge plot, away from the residential building. However, we no longer own horses, so it is currently used as a storage room.

The guesthouse itself, with its characterful bedrooms, living room, bathroom, garden room, stylish interior design and vintage furniture, yet modernized and fully equipped with all the comforts, evokes the atmosphere of a turn-of-the-century peasant home.

It has a lot of potential – it requires care and attention, and we, as female members of the family, have less and less of the necessary capacity to maintain it.

So after many years of hesitation, we are now ready to let go of this unique and lovingly built family guesthouse – but we would only like to pass it on to a new owner who appreciates everything it represents.
