Description
In Cserszegtomaj, 3 km from Hévíz, the **“Festetics Pince”** Restaurant and Event Hall with an apartment is available for long-term lease, in excellent condition.
Building size: **690 m²**, plot size: **2,600 m²**.
The property was built in **1842** based on the designs of **Vilmos Kehrn**, chief architect of the Festetics estate, originally as the **“Tomaj Wine Cellar, Press House and Vintner’s House.”** It was renovated in **2000** and **2014**.
In **2000**, a **40 m² apartment** was created in the tower section, which is also perfectly suitable for permanent residence. Heating is provided by **2 gas boilers**. In addition, the apartment has **air conditioning**, and heating is also assisted by an impressive **tiled stove** in the VIP room (for 20 people) and another in the upper restaurant seating **65 guests**.
The cellar area is suitable for events of **100–200 people**.
Between **2014 and 2019**, a successful restaurant and wine cellar operated here. A modern kitchen and equipment supported high-quality service in our family business; however, due to the coronavirus, we had to close. A year ago, it was leased again as an event venue, but it has since become available once more, and we are looking for a **serious tenant**.
There are also **two old log houses** on the **2,600 m²** plot, in which a **local ethnographic museum** has been established. According to the land registry, the property is classified as a **cultural center / local heritage house** and **is not under monument protection**.
