Our beloved home in Diósjenő, Nógrád County, 60 km from Budapest, is now available for rent. The house with a garden is located at the south-eastern foot of the Börzsöny Mountains (300 meters above sea level), just a 2-minute walk from the forest.

The plot is located on the edge of the village, at the end of a cul-de-sac, next to the forest, making it an extremely quiet and peaceful area.

The 110 m² house has a recently renovated 50 m² terrace with a wonderful view of Naszàly Mountain, Cserhàtra and Màtrà.

The house is located on a 1769 m² plot.

Several fruit trees have been planted in the yard: apple, plum, quince, cherry, sour cherry, pear, medlar, apricot, and 3 dessert grapes, arranged in an arbor, as well as blackberry bushes, figs, and rose hips.

We have created nine raised beds on the property, where we grow chemical-free vegetables. We water the beds from a rainwater collection tank and also use drip irrigation on half of the beds.
Kitchen waste and pruned branches were placed in the compost bin next to the beds, which produced nutrient-rich soil within a few months.
A 35 m² garage is currently under construction.

One of the three bedrooms has a wardrobe, a spacious and bright living room, and a large dining room, and the kitchen also has a pantry.
Underfloor heating and hot water: a 500-liter buffer tank is heated by a water-filled fireplace and/or solar collector, or a condensing gas boiler (without a buffer, directly). Therefore, the overhead costs are minimal.
Walls: 38 cm brick + 10 cm graphite insulation, 40 cm glass wool in the ceiling. 3-layer wooden doors and windows.

The village has everything you need for a peaceful rural life: 2 grocery stores, a doctor, a pharmacy, a nursery, a kindergarten, and an elementary school. A farmers' market is held every month. The local forestry office organizes themed tours, such as mushroom and herb identification tours.
In the neighboring village, mothers and their children can participate in baby-mommy exercise classes and Ringató activities.

We are looking for a family who also values environmental protection and a lifestyle close to nature. Who would be happy to take care of the garden (mowing the lawn, pruning, etc.).
