Description
A beautiful, impressive locally protected Swabian house is for sale in the northern part of Baranya county, in a charming hilly village, Mekényes. The house is in dire need of renovation, of which we have already done a good deal of work, e.g.: trash removal, garden cleaning, tree planting, partial fence restoration, masonry, roof preservation repair, basic water installation in the building, etc.
All windows in the house are original, the street windows are equipped with shutters. The artistic mosaic tiles of the porch and the old kitchen and the great room have also been preserved, waiting to be rebuilt. We are selling the house with a heavy heart, solely for family reasons, and we would like to find a buyer who values the protected folk value, as well as its preservation and further development.
The neighbors are very nice people, on both sides, the whole village is very cordial and friendly, there is a well-equipped shop and a super espresso bar opposite the house and a little further away.
